Large-screens represent a modern equipment of public areas, building exteriors and interiors, shopping parks, sports facilities as well as multipurpose sports palaces. The brightness and dynamic image of the screens attract attention of spectators watching commercials, information, TV camera pictures and live TV broadcasting.
Modern large-screen LED screens [LED-LS] were developed for exteriors with daylight and interiors with intensive artificial lighting. Contrary to projectors, plasma displays and LCD displays they are not dependent on light conditions.
The large-screen LEDs display a full-colour image due to light emitting diodes (LED) as sources of light which provide high brightness (up to 16,000 CD/m2, NIT) and contrast (min. 1:8,000). The screens are virtually maintenance-free, LED lifetime is very long (producers indicate 80,000 to 100,000 hours with 60% brightness).
